I’ve been saying for years that we ought to cut off foreign aid to any government who disagrees with our policies. It would save us billions of dollars, probably make the world some safer and, if carried through to its ultimate conclusion, bankrupt California.

Won’t it be a hoot - when the poor, disenfranchised muslims - force the US into isolationism? 234 years of reaching out, helping and funneling well gazillions to 3rd World pissant tyrants and tin horn dictators and not a fr*ggin’ penny got to the millions of poor and impoverished that these insane and inhumane scum drain of every single ounce of hope (sort of like our own dictator in training - The Won) - all wiped away by a violent, brutal and subhuman cult masquerading as a religion in less than a generation!
Drill Here, Drill Now - take it on - ANWR, Bakkan and off shore - really put your money (oops, my bad taxpayers hard earned money) where your mouth is and make the US independent of ‘foreign’ oil - and stop the drain of millions to people who would as soon kill us as spit on us.
And that goes for the other b*stard step child of hate, evil and barbaric behavior (3rd world cesspool style) the Mexican illegal ‘immigrants’ (oh, damn they are #2 on the US oil import list) - Imagine cutting off their foreign aid, millions wire sent home from illegals AND deportation of those who cross our border illegally (i.e. the drug trade) - Why Mexico just might suffer an EPIC FAIL without the vapid, stupid US enbabler policy financing them.
I think most people complain most often about “foreign aid” and I’m one of em.
We seem to pour money into sinkholes without a second thought. We’ve been buying friends for generations. And here in England it might be worse because they have a much smaller economy.
It’s very hard to explain. Anyway, the govt. here gives aways piles of the stuff and then turns around and tells it’s citizens they have to tighten their belts coz there’s no money available. ??? But damn if they didn’t find kazillions for that olympic stadium, and money to help the perpetually down and out in Afrika, and the last govt. really turned this place into a welfare state that it wasn’t before. Well, it kind of was but it got worse under the left.BUT ... Dave ... gimme a break. Calif. is my home state. Or it was till the idiot voters brought back Gov. Moonbeam. We’re seriously wondering if we’ll really have a home and state to come back to. Don’t want Calif. bankrupt. Although I suppose the real estate would be a buyers market. I’d love to live in Sun City in Palm Desert. Love the area and the climate, hate the desert sand crickets and roaches. And the loony left. Although Palm Desert is fairly conservative.
Sorry, Peiper. It was intended as a joke. I have many relatives in CA, and it’s a beautiful place. As you may have noticed, I live in Michigan, another beautiful state which misguided economic and environmental policies have turned into something else entirely.

Dave ... I didn’t take it in a bad way. Sorry if I left that impression. I know folks joke about CA all the time. To keep our sanity, so do we ( who sometimes live there).
Had higher hopes when Arnold knocked off the grey man and became gov. He was better but still too lib. for me. But no joke, wife and I really are doubtful about the state now.
Who knows what kind of lunacy might be enacted by Gov.Moonbeam and the ppl who voted him in.

I don’t care which one. It’s been a few centuries since Christian sects went to war against each other over points of doctrine. And don’t cite the Catholics/Protestant squabble in Ireland. That was far more political than religous.
My point is that the aggressor sets the rules. Islam wants us to convert at sword/gunpoint, or at least accept dhimmitude and pay the jizya. We’ve got Sharia law creeping into the US judicial system. Sharia is definitely already in bed with British common law. I’m just suggesting we use the same tactics.
As for ‘false converts’? What do you think Islamic forced conversions result in?
Islam has been the aggressor since its inception. North Africa used to be Christian. It took hundreds of years to win Spain back. Christianity usually doesn’t use force. I know, there are historical instances of it. I’m not suggesting we use ‘force’ to convert Muslims. We won’t kill them if we don’t. We’ll just withhold any aid if they don’t.
