1. If he had written “Push 1 to proceed in English, push 2 to register to vote,” he would have been hailed as a socially-conscious intellectual of the highest water.

   If he then got himself a smart promoter, the sky would be the limit.

2. Yes, the one thing no one can be forgiven for now is telling the truth. We are no longer “allowed” our own opinions if they diverge from the herd mentality.
