2. Congress has been dicking around on this bill for 12 weeks. They know full well they are cutting the legs out from under the military. They also know the amount of ass pain they will create sending a bill to the President he cannot sign.

   If I thought it do some good, I’d write my congressman, but he’s one of them.

3. I don’t know how many military troops out there read this site. A fair number I’m sure. I’ll put my signature on this post, just as I have many others, and on every blog site I go to. “Remember your oath of enlistment? REMEMBER YOUR OATH OF ENLISTMENT!” You know, the part about ALL ENEMIES, FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC!

4. This stuff about not having money to pay the troops has been going on for decades under Democrat controlled congresses.  Many times through the 70’s and 80’s we were told that if the budget isn’t signed by Oct 1, their won’t be any money to pay us.  Thing is, we’ve always got paid but we did cut back on flying operations because of lack of money.  I remember many times not having the money to get expendable (throw away when bad) aircraft parts.  Hopefully, the troops will be paid before all else.

5. This is just such bs - and yes cmblake6 - my hubby (retired Army) and I have been talking about a miltary uprising against these un-Constitutional treasonus traitors.

   They don’t have the ‘overwhelming’ majority (mainly because most in Congress are really moderates in both parties - which is probably where the majority of America is too) and thus this repetative rehashing of all the crap that has already been investigated time and time again and again.

   It is time for Pelosi and Reid to resign - they are not doing their jobs - just attempting to forestall the inevitable which they think will be a dem elected in 2008. Not realizing that if they accomplish nothing in this Congress - they will be lucky if any dems are elected in 2008, much less win the WH.

   I’m trying to find a call for Reid’s resignation - found a lot of blogs and even Duncan Hunter is calling for his resignation, but yet to find a petition or site I can sign my name to.

6. wardmama4, your husband and I need to go have a beer. We need to talk to some of the people I’m sure we both know. Reid and Pelosi need not to resign, but to be removed, charged, tried, and executed. This is bullshit. It is time for those of us who swore to protect and defend to do so. At the risk of repetition, this is bullshit.

7. I read that the Senate and House approved a bill giving a withdrawal deadline.  If President Bush vetoes it, and I hope he does, will there be enough votees to override his veto?

8. lisar915 - no look at the votes 218-212 in the House and 51-46 in the Senate - it is not the needed votes to override the veto. That is what I said - the majority are really moderates - not these loony fringe people that are getting all the press. It is going to get ugly as it keeps going as the moonbats are going page by page through the Vietnam/Watergate playbook for a redo - and the criminal aspect is not there, so they are left with nothing. And it is driving them further and further crazy. Bush is out fully, never to be elected again in Jan 2009 - my god that is less than 2 years - yet the dems still focus on blaming him and attempting to criminalize this entire Administration/War - which most of what they are screeding about now, they said in the late 90s. It is simply, purely insane and these people need to be held accountable for not doing their jobs and the dangerous attempt at overthrowing the President that they have engaged in since January.

   We need to join forces and bring an end to this garbage before it is too late.

9. Sounds like a bit of BDS psychosis to me. What’s WRONG is all the demoncrap bullshit we’ve been held back by. Not W, but the libtards who never really lost power at all. We NEED people with BALLS in DC. Focus your anger against the left wing that seeks the destruction of America, not those who would preserve this nation. They didn’t attack us? Not in uniform, not as a military force on force exercise, but they are guilty nonetheless. And we need a forward operating location for the war. This IS Armageddon in the offing, you silly shit! Don’t blame Bush, blame the libtards that have held us back from totally kicking ass.
