19 million? For that?
Oh well, it’s still better then Tracey Emins unmade bed that received kudos from the artsy fartsy art gurus some years ago. Now there’s a case of an (?) artist(?) who is as ugly as her creations.
Anyway ... how do ppl value a painting like the one here? Why is it worth 19 million?That is butt-ugly.
But then, I’m a rube who still clings to his guns and religion.
This thing with the Nazis is starting to seem like slavery. How long are we going to try to return items stolen by the Nazis to ‘their rightful owners’? How long are we going to whine about slavery and ‘reparations’?
Not only was the aunt dead, the guy, who I assumed would have been her heir and filed the claim, is also dead. Everybody involved is dead. Quit it!
BTW, I’ve done some genealogical research. I’m descended from the guy that built the Parthenon. I demand the return of the Elgin Marbles. Or a large contribution to my bank account.

Yes, sometimes the desire for a bong moment is really strong. But then it goes away and doesn’t resurface for another couple of years. Perfect fall days when I have nothing to do and there’s no one around are highly tempting. Must. Persevere.

Guys, realistically a business deal with a gun to your head may as well be theft, even if you did get paid. The rest is simply a matter of inheritance.
There’s a difference between the return of things to specific people or families and general reparations for some wrong.
