Well, why not send him an email and ask?
I’m sure he’ll be back soon with a tale to tell, even if it’s one of dropped ISPs, British Internet, and the difficulty of blogging via a Hudl via random public wifi. Or buying enough food bits so that you can get the Hudl2 upgrade for free with Points Earned. Not to mention the actual winter they’re having (snow, ice, blizzard, freezing temps - so un-British!) and whether the furnace will work this year. Non-stop adventure!
ALRIGHTY THEN, SOUNDS LIKE PIEPER IS JUST BUSY DEALING WITH WIFEY ISSUES.
Well, As it happens we don’t have a boiler. Yup, saving up points for the Hudl-2 but dismayed to learn the battery doesn’t last as long as the Hudl-1.
No dropped ISPs, now that would be a bad thing.
Thankfully, while it is very cold here, we are lucky being in the southern part of the country. It used to be called south/central but somehow ended up being referred to as southeast. The blizzard and ice and snow is north and the Scots would be hit pretty hard.
Drew has it right about blogging with a tablet. I think many folks have mastered that but I haven’t. Yet. Not really as straightforward as using a desk top pc. I found it to be quite a bit more fiddly. But it’s great for watching movies in bed and catching up on some TV shows. We don’t have a TV set, never missed it either. But the BBC iPlayer serves well, as do the other catch up channels. I started watching Wolf Hall last week. Have no intention of trying to plod my way thru Mantel’s 700 pages of the first book.
Anyway ... health could be better and just haven’t been up to scratch or stamina to sit at a puter for the hours and hours it normally takes me. Health issues with wife as well and taking care of things for her also. So, I’ll be posting a bit less than I’d like to.
See? I was fairly close.
Mostly.
