My dad’s version was Miracle Whip and pineapple rings on white. Have to drain the rings real good first, but it was quick and taaaaaasty!

I think if you’re raised with it, you like it. If you got real mayo, you can’t stomach it.
And the English have this other thing they call Salad Cream. I have no idea what that is, but it is not mayonnaise.
Don’t know what salad cream is but we do have real mayo, which is the only way to fly. None of that lo fat aftertaste stuff. And yeah. We remember that toaster oven by GE. I guess everybody had one. Took up little room on your counter and did exactly what it was meant to do. And it didn’t even have a built in clock or computer controls that beeeeeeped even after you removed the item.

It is more of a salad dressing like thousand island etc. not a mayo substitute. Not really my cup of tea but I bet Heinz still sell shed loads of it.
