  1. Hell, I’ve not solved this one. Haven’t even looked in the book… yet!

  2. Still haven’t actually peeked. But this looks intriguing:

    1. Qxg6 fxg6
    2. Bxe6+ Kh7 or 8
    3. Rfh3+

On the down side, none of that is forced, not sure if it counts as ‘diversion.’ But it is something stupid that I’d try.

  3. I agree with your first move, I saw it as soon as you posted but decided to wait and give someone else a chance to solve this.  Black cannot help but loose material.  I think the diversion is to get the f pawn to give up its square.

  4. Probably right Wes. I still haven’t peeked. Mainly because I play stupid moves all the time. I’ll post the actual result tomorrow. Maybe. The Walkers might eat me first.

I did post a recent chess.com game. I was seriously outrated, but I sacked a rook and won. Only 22 moves! I personally think that my Kc2 move may have one of my best.

  5. I saw this, but not sure if it’s a good line.

    g4 X e6 ... g7 X h6
    f3 - h3 ... h6 - g7
    d5 - g5 ... f7 X e6
    e3 - d4 ... ?

  6. Oops.

    Should be:

    g4 X e6 ... g7 X h6
    f3 - h3 ... h6 - g7
    d5 - g5 ... f7 X e6
    g5 X g6 ... ?
