Colorado University Responds On Churchill

 

1. Stan - I smell a “wuss out” coming on this. I hope I’m wrong. DiStefano is a pretty good person and will do what he thinks is best, but the other two people on the investigation commitee are Churchill supporters, especially Gleeson.
   The Chancellors office will be releasing their report around the 11th. We will see then.

2. Seems like a surprisingly straightforward response to me. Now, whether he continues to show some balls and goes through with it remains to be seen. He may buckle in to the possibility of having to give millions to that traitor just to get rid of him.

   That bit about the accounts is old news here locally. It goes back to the two football players that were accussed of rape. As a part of that investigation a grand jury looked into Barnett’s(Head Coach) football camp for kids. By contract, any money raised by the football camp goes into Barnetts pocket, it’s part of his compensation and it is a good chunk of money. $700,000.00 +. The reason for this is CU doen’t pay what other Big12 teams pay. Oklahoma is paying their head coach $2.5 million/year. Without writing a book here, I’ll say that it is just a bunch of crap started by Betsy Hoffman and her socialist buddies on campus and it is going to come back and bite her in the ass. Between that and Churchill her days at CU are numbered. Good fucking riddance.

5. Thank God I live in a “hire at will, fire at will” state.  The conversation would go like this:

   “Hello, Professor Churchill?  Yes, it’s Dean Tacberry....  Nice to speak with you too. ... The reason for my call?  Yes, well, it’s Friday… Yes, um-hum ... yes ... yes ... I just wanted you to know, your fired, don’t bother to come in Monday. ... Why?  It’s the end of the pay period, it just makes the bookkeeping easier. ...  Ok, you too, have a nice weekend.”

   It’d be much shorter if I got the answering machine.
