1. Try a motion activated Rain bird sprinkler.  Works on most any critter, especially at night.
   They don’t like getting wet, and it scares the shit out of them.

3. Drew - apparently our asparagus bed had the only grass (yes, made worse after using the asparagus ‘safe’ grass killer for two years) in the area. The little girl deer who visits ate it all up (only a couple of weeds and some of the wandering ivy left) so we have some asparagus growing - now that the monsoons have stopped. She even slept in the thick grass bed I left her - until I plowed it down on Wednesday.

   Sadly I’ve already seen the opossum and the nasty ground hog too.

   I need to order two of those to put on either side of the ground hog tunnel.

4. We know about you and groundhogs, and await the soggy news of your latest “cage match” victory.

   I tell ya, it’s bad enough that you aren’t allowed to hunt deer from your living room window, but when government gets so intrusive you can’t clean out the garden with a .22 from your back porch, it’s probably time to move somewhere more country.
