1. Wow! Diversity on BMEWS!

   Trust me, the same sort of gathering in Ohio/Indiana wouldn’t be quite so… so… blatant.

   Viva diversity! (of customs, thought, etc)

   I’ve lived literally in all four corners of the continental 48. (and yes, I’ve been to Alaska and Hawaii) The diversity I’ve cherished isn’t ‘skin deep’. It’s been the different cultures. Believe me when I say that southern California differs from Seattle, WA.

   Orlando, FL differs from Saratoga Springs, NY.

   That’s just some of the places I’ve lived in. Don’t get me started on places I’ve only visited as a tourist. I’ll never forget our visit to Charleston, SC.
