  1. At 16.5 inches tall, this R2-D2 is just a little less then half life size.  IIRC, R2-D2 is appx. one meter tall.  But if he can bring me another drink, who am I to quibble over a petty detail like that??  beer_drinker

  2. I was thinking pretty much the exact same thing.  I had a friend in college who I suspect will be one of the first to obtain one of these critters… his star wars collection had to be valued in the tens of thousands.  Insanely extreme but it was pretty much his entire life.  Well to each their own I guess.

Then again, I’ll admit I’m pretty tempted to grab one of these myself… smile

  3. Bought a Robosapiens (14” model) for the granddaughter for Christmas. Wife thought I was nuts. She’ll kill me if I order one of these.

......... ah well, “the valiant die but once ...”

  5. Put R2D2 (or is that R2Me2) into a steel cage death match against that Robo-Reptile.

May the best ‘bot win… punching  laughing_tv

  6. In the hundred year history of science fiction films, only one can truly be called a movie star...

    - Robby The Robot

    - Gort

    - Robot (from Lost in Space)

Just to name 3 glaring omissions.
