Wanker, slang for maturbator.
Wigger, slang term for “urbanized” white kids.
Wetback, wop, wog. Wench. Wussy.
Google gives you entire lists. Uh huh, and it says “WASP” is a derogatory term. Right, as if! Usually it means “has a college degree, a stable marriage, a career, a nice house, and a pension plan”! Oh my, such a put down.
Meanwhile, here in Canada, I stopped in at the convenience store on the way home. An Indian man (ie, India) was working the counter.
He specifically wished me a “Merry Christmas” (NOT Happy Holidays, or anything generic.) I smiled, said, “Thank you, likewise to you and yours.” He lit up with a big smile too.
And I’ve been wishing customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in emails I’ve been sending out today, and will do so in those I send out tomorrow. It’s probably not corporate policy, but it’s MY policy.
All is well in my world.

You’re right. I forgot all about that. I hadn’t heard that expression in years but the Brits do use that. Thanks.
Could be worse.
Could have to listen to Terry Prachett’s Foul Ron: ‘Bugger it’.
And smell him. His smell has a life of it’s own.
All wrong, it is the former great britain we are talking about, socialist utopia, the word must be the greatest insult out there
WORKER.
There is a list - can’t for the life of me find it on the InterNet - and even went through my bookmarks seeing if I could find it on one of my fav websites - 10 DVDs that OWS should watch. I’ve started trying to find them - but I do recommend one - Mao’s Last Dancer is a very good movie. I am disappointed that they did not include The Lives of Others. But here it is (in my order, as I said, couldn’t find the email):
The Pursuit of Happyness
The Pixar Story
The Lost City
Agenda: Grinding America Down
Mao’s Last Dancer
Waiting for Superman
Original Intent
Doctor Zhivago
Everything In Between
Atlas Shrugged
