1. Sadly America needs to have executions before a show like this could even be done. Texas is still number one - but that might be a good idea - since so many of them down there speak the language of the Illegal Aliens - it just might work.

   Maybe we could do a civility speak confession show too - I would bet Rush Limbaugh’s slut comment will pale against Bill Mahr calling Sarah Palin a c*nt (several times).

   Or most especially against this gem:

2. There is far too much time between the sentencing and execution of a death sentence in America. I sometimes wonder if the banning of public executions hasn’t made execution too antiseptic, too removed. The last one was in 1936. But then again,the death penalty is just that, a penalty. It is not called the death deterrant.

   But,

   Once a criminal is DEAD he or she can’t commit another crime.

4. As usual you guys have it right. And Sig94 reminds me that even I forgot. It’s a penalty. Period. The problem as noted by Sig is that too much time passes. The bad guys are not especially frightened as they see the system pretty much as we all do. Weak and run pretty much by hand wringers and weepy eyed libtards.
   Every single time this subject comes up in the foreign press, without any exceptions, people start squawking about America’s prison population and how ineffective the DP is and so we should join the civilized world and scrap the DP.  Nobody ever tells me why it’s all any of their business to begin with. But boy do they harp on it.

   And Wardmom, yeah.Bill Mahr used to be funny. He is not really stupid you know. Not at all.
   But he has become cruel, crass, overly liberal and crude. He’s as foul mouthed as the worst of them and his targets are usually cons. I haven’t a problem with ppl who are critical of Mrs Palin if they have a legit gripe fine. But there isn’t any need to call her names as I had heard him do. And she isn’t the only one. He stopped being fun to watch a long time ago altho I confess when I visited home this year, I did watch. I often think many of these so called ‘comics’ also play to the young left and will pander to their tastes.
   Some years ago while watching something long forgotten but of interest at the time, that ugly not funny (to me) Whoppi Goldberg happen to be one of the guests and started a rant which for some odd reason included the wife of President Bush Sr. She was especially foul mouthed as is her habit (when talent is lacking, swear a lot) and proceeded to talk about Mrs Bush in some pretty bad terms. She never did get around to telling the audience what it was that Mrs Bush was supposed to have done or said. But her audience of idiots mostly cheered her on and applauded her. Let a con do that and it’s in all the papers.

This was from a Hot Air article on the voters in CA who overwhelmingly approve the death penalty [and supported the marriage definition of one man, one woman - which has to make one wonder exactly how so many baby killing, social experimenting, illegal alien loving spend and tax Dems keep getting elected?!?]. I warn you, it is disgusting and will make you sad and angry at the same time, I have to ask any liberal who wants to take it on: Explain to me, how ridding society of an sub-human animal such as this is against anything civil, religious or moral? Even the psychiatrist said he was beyond treatment (like his, not even final crime, didn’t show that). He was and had been since 1958 a danger to children - why was he free and why did he continue to breath air and suck up hard-working, employed and law abiding citizens money (taxpayers - is a code word to inure the sheeple that paying taxes is acceptable and should be done).

   I still say it is more just, more moral and more sane to simply give them a shot and end their suffering and protect as many innocent people as possible.
