  1. We are toe to an historical line. From this
day foward, the way in which THE NEWS is ...
gathered, digested and viewed, will forever
    be different.

In the long run, this may be as momentous
as the passing of the dinosaurs.

And the cause was not a meteor, it was an
    electron.

I wish Jay Gould were still alive. He
would have something to say about this.

    Ain’t life grand?

  2. The “TH” was a nice touch. cool hmm

  3. I just LOVE this, the Democrats gave these to CBS News, CBS News gave them to the White House, who made NO comment, and they ran with them.

I just love it when Bush doesn’t defend himself against such things. He knew these were fakes, but didn’t say a thing, because he thought that they would be smart enough to figure it out themselves, and if they weren’t it would be discovered, so either way, he won.

The Kerry campaign is imploding, the Democrat party is caught with it’s pants down, forging documents in order to attack Bush, and CBS News has just lost ANY and ALL of it’s credibility, oh, and Dan Rather has been caught for the Democrat cheerleader that he is.

    God, it’s a WONDERFUL morning!!

  4. Hopefully Dan Rather will channel the spirit of Bud Dwyer and do the right thing on the Nightly News tonight. I’ll be watching.

  5. A few points:
I’m not a fan of tort lawyers, but in this case I hope the Killian family finds a very good one and sues the crap out of Rather & CBS.

Is forging military records a crime?

Lastly, Bush has not used his service as a campaign issue; Kerry has.  The only reason I care to know any more than “they served” is because Kerry made it the centerpiece of his campaign. Because he has and his claims are suspect, I doubt his credibility today and fitness to serve as CinC.
That Bush has done a decent job as CinC for the last three years speaks louder, much louder, than what he did or did not do 35 years ago.  I’m still for Bush, in spite of his flaws.

  6. The days of Honest news reporting are gone and CBS is still going to do everything it can to keep going downhill.
