Wow. I wonder how many like that haven’t been found yet? The Red Dawn scenario continues to unfold.
That was one of my points KC. Just because the truck was snagged near the border doesn’t mean it was going to Mexico. It could have been coming from. But I will grant that the odds are heavily in favor of it going south ... unless our border security is so bad that it’s actually safer to ship guns across Mexico by smuggling them into, across, and then out of the US? I really don’t know the situation down there, but it seems like a hellish mix between the cartels, the corrupt officials, and the poverty.
OK, I really want to know because I dont, Who does make AKs for domestic consumption in the US? Are they all imported or is there a small maker of specialty arms here in the US?
Yes,I know,Google it yourself you lazy bastard!@!!
BTW,The website looks great on my new 23 inch lcd Drew.No more goofy squeezed overlapping.
I hate to be a party pooper, but I MUST throw the BS flag on the “fully automatic” portion of this report.
Here’s why, I have an M70AB, which is a folding stock Yugo variant of the AK. Look at the video on the news site (linked in the story) and at about 45 seconds freeze it, where it is showing the side of the weapon with the safety in the F position.
If you don’t have an AK handy (you should) I can tell you that semis only have two positions on the safety, S & F, the full auto ones have a 3 position safety. I cannot see the third position on this weapon and don’t see the room for it. Factually, it looks identical to the safety switch on my M70.
I recognize I could be wrong, I am old and have poor vision, but I’m pretty sure that I’m right on this one.
