Carol Sends A Reminder

 

1. Hubby has his Thompson (somewhere I think maybe in the bedroom but it might have been one of the ones stolen - damn we forgot to file a police report) - Anyway - how can a people be so stupid - it seems as though UKs Parliament has been populated by the morons we have now attempting to destroy America.

   The difference is - we (Americans - the majority) don’t care - always been individuals, self-sufficient and enough checks and balances to beat back the Klownposse in DC.

   Tragically, as soon as I think that - some sheer insane piece of work by a new batch of Klownposses appears and I wonder if we are going to have to proceed to:
   -“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” — Thomas Jefferson

   However - since the creep who hacked Palin was convicted on two of the four counts - the Average American continues to make me think that there is hope.

7. This is part of why the British Empire declined so rapidly during my parent’s lifetime. If you can’t defend yourself at home, how do you expect to defend yourself abroad?

   OCM’s return is surprising me. I always thought he was a left-wing radical, yet here he is agreeing, indeed, ‘dittoing’ me in a previous post. And he keeps a shotgun.

   I also keep a shotgun, and a .38 revolver under my pillow. But I live in a dangerous part of Ohio. It’s called Dayton.

   OCM, send me a private email, tell where you’re at. Maybe we can meet up? I’d like to buy you your favorite beer.

   No promises. I have to clear such things with Mrs. Christopher.

8. OCM was quite a leftie when he started coming to BMEWS but he loved this country and he’s the father of a US Marine.  I think once he realized that us Conservatives also cared about this country and we had some things in common like trying to stop illegal immigration and a few other things, he saw we had a lot in common.  I like to think what really changed his mind about us “right wingers” is when he had his accident and had to go in for some serious surgery.  He found out he had a whole bunch of concerned folks here praying for him and Allan kept in contact with his sister for updates.
