Can We Question Their Patriotism Now?

  1. Obama - is further prove that the DNC, liberals and lunatic left truly value nothing - and as a warning (although so utterly proven in 2006 with Joe Liberman) will turn on their own, if it is of any electorial and/or monetary value to them. . .

The second story - when the heck did promoting the lesser point become the real ‘story’. Perhaps if anyone ever tried starting out with 73% of Americans want America to stay in Iraq and Win the War - the drivel from Reid/Pelosi et al would cease as they could not ever say ‘mandate of the American people’ again (well at least with a straight face) . . .but no, even FNC leads off with the negative. . .

And we wonder why there is no civility in Government, why the politicians are liars and why the msm has no credibility at all? Because there is no substance, no facts and no desire to empower, uplift and encourage the American people at all - in media, in education and most especially not in America politics.

  2. The flag pin became a substitute for his patriotism?? Holy crap. Such depth this guy has. I have a pin that says “BANG BANG YOU’RE DEAD” on it, but find that the deer simply refuse to pay attention to it and die. Somehow it takes actually shooting them for that to happen.

19% of the donks want outright defeat and another 20% don’t care. F-ing loonies.

  3. The wearing of a pin by itself really doesn’t have much meaning.  What does have meaning is that the flag of the United States is the symbol of our unity.  Mr. Obama has now trashed the concept of our unity and his candidacy should now be similarly trashed.  The analogy of a wedding ring is quite apt.  Personally, there has not been a day that I haven’t displayed the flag since 9/11.  I am an American.  My family came here to be Americans.  Nothing will change that.

As far as folks want us to lose, well, there’s lots of room elsewhere if you don’t like it here.  This is my country.  Whether or not I agree with any particular administration does not change my pride in being an American.  I never want to see us lose for any reason.  If we make a mistake, we can apologize and try to make up for it later, but first, we must win.

  4. Great point Dr. Jeff - symbols are important but we are talking about a group that idolizes and lionizes a man who uttered ‘it all depends on what the definition of is, is.’ Thus started them down the road to words, actions - nothing has meaning. Or value.

  5. How many more Dems would say they want us to lose if they thought we weren’t listening?

  6. 19% ?  Yep.  that “is” could be it.
Or maybe, are there that many would be draft dodgers?

  7. Perhaps someone should send Osama Obama a green crescent lapel pin....

  8. Personally, the lapel pin is a non issue and no, I’m not an Obama supporter. In response to the rhetorical question about the world being better off if we suffer defeat in Iraq, it’s no, it would not be. Now, a more realistic question might be would it be better off had we never went there. Ok, that’s a no brainer. Until we get competent leadership with a realistic plan, none of us are better off, uh, with the exception of perhaps Haliburtan, the Hunt Oil Company of Dallas, et al,.
