Can We Ever Expect Mexico To Act Honorably?

 

1. But please do not use the military to do it. I have the greatest respect (Semper Fi!) for the Marines’ ability to “blow up things and kill people”.  But they are the bluntest of blunt instruments.

   The last time we were used for border drug interdiction a 17-year-old Mexican goatherd ended up dead.

2. If Tom Tancredo ever leaves the House of Representatives, he sould be put in charge of controlling the border. Tom would stand up to the political shit storm that true reform of border policy would create. Until someone in charge grows a set and stirs the pot we are going to have to live with this bullshit.
