  1. Hey Severa, what happened to the red haired icon? downer

Yeah, this is a hollow apology. But I’m learning new expressions in LiberalSpeak because of it:

“failure to reach out” actually means “condemned by all and sundry, with 80 staff signatures attached to a published document”.

“causing the families to feel abandoned” actually means “we fired the coach, we expelled the students, and we called for them to be punished beyond the full extent of the law, before any evidence was presented at all. Then we gave over the campus to an unending session of ‘white guilt’ and allowed every uppity n disgruntled person of color we could find to mouth off speak passionately about how the black community was wronged by this the need for unbiased justice to be persued.”

What a crock. Fire the whole damn racist (white hating) bunch of them. Yeah, like that’ll happen. Then take the DA out and hang him.

  2. This new icon is more recent (the old one was from around Christmas time) Don’t worry, the red hair is still there, it’s just darker when it’s wet wink

  3. I hope the lacrosse players sue the living shit out of Duke Univershitty.

  4. I’m with Macker but I’m not holding my breath.

The apology came out as it did only after the University’s lawyers found the right price to settle this out of court.

  5. "not better supporting”? How about an apology for rushing to judgement, vilifying them, raking them over the coals, dragging their good names through the mud and convicting them before any evidence was presented.

    Asshat!

  6. Too bad someone can’t fire the president and every one of the staff who signed the crap letter. If Richard Narrowmind had one bit of descency, he would resign for what he did.
I won’t hold my breath though.

  7. It would seem that allegations of guilt are more seriously taken than the real thing, and the only thing punishable at Duke. Neither Bohnhead OR ANY of the 80 teachers who signed the guilt thing will EVER see any type of justice. It’s a fact.

  8. According to Rush - this was timed for a purpose - on Sat so that no one would hear it/report it and done because - gasp - Duke is in settlement negotiations. Now that is real Liberal Speak - and Rush is perhaps the best interpreter out there.
