Calendar Trivia

 

1. More than one smartaleck has fallen into a trap question about some event in our colonial history that supposedly occurred during those missing 11 days.  It can be very amusing if you trip up the right people.

2. I knew our calendar was screwed up but not that bad!  I can understand the people being upset about missing several days, though.  Can you imagine if we did that today?  10 gazillion Windows computers would explode!

   Speaking of Windows, I heard from a friend this morning that there is a new security threat out there and it may be bad.  I have not researched it much yet, but I will pass along a couple of links that give some information.  You apparently get this bug by browsing infected internet sites.  Be careful out there in internet land with a Windows box....
