  1. Even though I’ve never met Vilmar in person, I have a sneaking suspicion that this will not silence him.  Something about a sleeping giant being filled with a terrible resolve comes to mind....

  2. I was enraged when I saw this yesterday.
If I am not mistaken, I believe I heard the first shot in the war on bloggers and free speech.
I was a regular reader at Right Wing Howler and always enjoyed his posts.
I read this particular post and took it for what it was - Concern for our children and our country. Yes, it was written tongue in cheek!
Anyone with a brain could see that. Oh, I forgot, we are dealing with CAIR and Bedier. He has to teach us Americans that muslims are nice and loving folks. Yeah, obviously! Just ask the people of New York, D.C., England, Spain, Israel, the girls murdered for daring to get an education, or the reachers risking all to facilitate their yearning for knowledge… the list of muslims loving acts are endless.
    I have already sent messages.
Vilmar, just so you know, you do have some loyal readers out here!
Folks, CAIR will be actively seeking to shut down more blogs.
    This is just the beginning!
All I can say is: Not without a fight!

  3. I remember Vilmar. He was a co-host for the Skipper when I first joined.

Now that he has drawn fire by sticking his head above the parapet, we can expose CAIR’s hypocracy for all to see. In the vein of “they dish it out but they can’t take it”.

Although I don’t have a blog yet (One day, I’ll start one. It’s still in the concept stage...), I would suggest that someone takes a translated hate sermon off MEMRI, turns the argument around to be against Militant Islam, places the two documents side by side, windiff style, and publishes. If CAIR comes after us again, we can show them a mirror of their own vituperation.

  4. If you read Mark Steyn’s new book “America Alone” (highly recommended!) he talks a lot about demographics as the major impetus behind the recent islamist movement. Simply put, they’re outbreeding us at a significant rate, while Europe wallows in the perpetual childhood of the nanny state and is barely breeding at all. “If you can’t outbreed them, cull them” is a quote from that book, but it is not the focus nor the intent of Steyn’s work. He is trying to raise awareness that the world is rapidly changing, especially the West because of its hedonistic enjoyment of the success of our civilizations. Don’t bother to grow up, have children, invest in the future, just Party On, Dudes!

Vilmar may be taking the same tack but from a bolder perspective. Steyn avoids the call to war that would entail vast civilian casualties, but he doesn’t offer much of an alternate solution other than keeping the wahhabi (Saudi) sect and their money out, along with marginalizing the UN, IAEA, etc. Steyn wants islam to reform from within; he feels many of the main sects - Sunni, Shia, Sufi - are normally peaceful but have been radicalized by the Wahabbi guys. In the very long run he may be right, whereas Vilmar offers a solution that might work right now. Islam isn’t going to reform, period. All the introspection was completed about 700-1000 years ago.

Just finished reading the new Nelson DeMille detective novel in which our hero has to stop a crazy right wing fanatic who’s evil plan is to detonate a couple of suitcase nukes in the USA to force an automatic doomsday reaction that would nuke the whole muslim world.

The idea of “Kill ‘em all, let God sort them out” isn’t exactly new. Is it “hate speech”? Is it “fair” hate speech when the other side is saying this kind of thing all the time? We are in a war of civilizations. Somebody has to look to the endgame and speak out about the final moves.

  5. Drew458,
I just finished reading the same book! Very good one, at that.
    Nelson DeMille rocks!
Vilmar was playing off of a parody from another website (IMAO).

  6. Bravo for you Skipper!!  We are all in this together and it shows your character to come to Vilmar’s defense.  I am off to give Hostgator a piece of my mind!!!

  7. Melissa

I haven’t been over to Frank J’s site in a while. Everything he does there is parody of course. Nuke The Moon!

I’ll have to read both postings I guess.

  8. CAIR = Council of Angry Islamofascist Radicals.

I wonder if Nihad Awad goes by the nickname ”Ishotquestion

Nuke the moon, hell, Nuke Mecca excaim at least it would be a good start…

Posted by Melissa in Texas    United States   12/15/2006  at  01:25 PM

  10. Melissa is absolutely correct. This post from over at IMAO is a classic Frank J bit of writing. In a “so serious” ponder, he comes up with a crazy solution. That’s humor folks. Vilmar and most other commenters keep the “/sarc” rolling. Until some troll “Laff Riot” implies they’re all nazis. Worse, he picks on not just SarahK but the Sizzle too (a deadly insult to all IMAO fans). Cold Fury reports on the situation. Funny thing is, over at Frank’s they’re probably ROFLMAO.

I’d give this situation about 12 hours until it blows over, but it sure does show that Vilmar hosting service is really sissy and that CAIR is out of control. I think its time to post all those mo-cartoons again, just to piss em off.

Posted by Drew458    United States   12/15/2006  at  02:21 PM

  11. BTW. I just tried to comment to Vilmar’s hosting service, and was told that all complaints were to be addressed to . I wonder if this identifies them as the perpetrator or recipient of abuse?

Posted by Big Bad Crawfish    United States   12/15/2006  at  02:57 PM

  12. Thanks Beth/Skipper for the information regarding the attack on Vilmar’s “free speech”.

Everyone should know that the goal of the Islamic-terrorist (a puesdo-religious, political, cult of hate) is to convert, enslave or kill all persons unwilling to accept Islam. Everyone needs to read scholar Robert Spencer’s book; The truth about Muhammad (Amazon.com) and share the information with all U.S. Patriots. We still need our borders secured.

Posted by utahminuteman    United States   12/15/2006  at  03:08 PM

  13. Been there, read that Utahminuteman. He lays out exactly what we already knew, and backs it up with all sorts of historical evidence and quotations.

I don’t cotton to censorship. Especially when it only works in one direction. As word of this overreaction gets around, I hope that all the people who have pages on that host take their business elsewhere.

Posted by Drew458    United States   12/15/2006  at  04:43 PM

  14. Hmmm...so it is ok for radical Islamists who live in the US to demonstrate in the streets, promoting violence and murder of Americans and American allies.  Free speech, y’know.  But let someone run afoul of CAIR, and that’s different.  Sorry, CAIR, but neither you nor the people you support deserve “special” treament.  I have been reading Vilmar for a couple of years now. Yes, his blog is often sarcastic.  It’s his opinion, his way of expressing himself on certain issues.  CAIR, you don’t have the right to censor anyone. And naming Vilmar’s site a hate site?  Come on.  They guy also talks about landscaping and photography and his worldwide travels.
I don’t much care for these murderous Islamic fanatics either. I know they would kill me in a heartbeat just for being American and/or Christian. CAIR, every time you do this kind of thing, like censor a blog or support “The Flying Imams”, you take one step closer to a line where you just won’t be tolerated yourself. Do you think we don’t notice???

Posted by Joseph    United States   12/15/2006  at  06:39 PM

  15. Considering what shows up on Neo Nazi web sites, Aryan Nation web sites and other digusting examples of bottom feeders, how did Vilmar manage to get shut down?  Where’s the ACLU and their belief in freedom of speech?  I’ve read much more provocative stuff than his, my G-d, I’ve even said similar things!

CAIR doesn’t like bad words - ok - what are they doing to help us with violent Moslems and Imams who preach the slaughter of infidels?  They seem much more interested in silencing their critics.  I copied 2 short paragraphs from one of the articles cited.

“Comments from national pundits and bloggers can incite violence and hate crimes, said Bedier, who came to the forum with a handout that featured a list of quotes that CAIR considers “anti-Muslim hate speech.”

The list included the words of commentators such as Glenn Beck and Ann Coulter, and religious figures such as Pat Robertson and the Rev. Billy Graham.”

Vilmar seems to have some good company.
    soapbox

Posted by Dr. Jeff    United States   12/15/2006  at  08:48 PM

  16. I will say this now, clearly and without equivocation or mental reservation – I support CAIR’s right to say ANYTHING they want short of incitement to riot, revolution or harm of another.

    Ok, fine.

Will they support the same for me, you or anyone else?

As long as it does not break my leg or pick my pocket, I do not care what you say…

I may disagree with what you say but I shall defend to the death your right to say it…

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech,…

These are the basic concepts of western free speech. If CAIR cannot ascribe to them, they should try to change the system within the legal process (i.e. Constitutional amendment), or advocate vociferously for change. How any judge could POSSIBLY uphold “hate speech” outside actual incitement to do harm is inconceivable. You can stand on the corner of Constitution Ave. and 14th St. and call for the violent overthrow of the republic, BUT unless and until it can be shown that my speech is ACTUALLY a call for that AND ACTUALLY inciting people to rebellion, the authorities can do nothing more about it than call you a nutjob.

Will CAIR support that right for me if I say things they do not like, even extreme things, as long as I am not actually rousing a rabble to go burn their headquarters, shove drill bits through the heads of Muslims, saw of the heads of Muslims and Trinity Broadcasting while crying “Praise the Lord! Thank you, Jesus!”

    Somehow, I doubt it.

  17. If this incident is not spread around the InterNet/country is anyone in America safe? I’ve said awful things, most of us have in one forum or another concerning the extremists that are at the root of the current GWOT. That CAIR is taking this stand either signifies their connection to the extremists (which isn’t that a Homeland Security issue) or as pointed out here - Muslims can say anything - and get a pass, but anything said against a muslim will be silenced.

Doesn’t work in America and if it does - we are all in trouble.

Remember Vilmar from my early days (of lurking now and then) and have RRWH bookmarked. Such a shame.

Hey CAIR you want to read hate speech and terrible things said about a group - try reading some of the liberal sites concerning the President and conservatives - the moonbat Joy Behar thinks that the right caused Sen. Johnson’s stroke - talk about hatefilled and dangerous speech.

You know how I silence most of the libs I attempt to have discussions with - tell them I read Daily Kos, Dem Underground, Huff Post and Michael Moore - they shut up then, because they know I have my quotes from the proverbial horses mouth (or in most of their cases, ass). Just some of the pictures here - prove that the extemists of muslim leaning are way more hatefilled than any of the things they quoted.

Sad day in America. Glad I’ve got a gun to protect my own. I fear it is going to come down to that.

  18. It’s back up!

Posted by Macker    United States   12/15/2006  at  10:50 PM

  19. Macker

Yeah, he’s back up, but he’s quitting. Trying to be nice, Vilmar writes a little good-bye note and says this way is a win-win for everybody. But it’s a lose-lose really.

Commenters on other blogs did point out that the server company owns the machines and has a right to decide what breaks their rules. I can’t argue with that, but I think the host should have been braver/less PC.

I guess if you truly want to get your voice out there you have to run your own host. Maybe there is a business opportunity here for some IT guys? FreeSpeechServer.com or something? But that is a sword that will cut both ways; let in one side and you’ll let in the other. Maybe it should be called HateServer.com, because I think that is what such a place would degenerate into in a very short time.

  20. As a long time reader of this blog, Vilmar always came across to me as being as stubborn as a pit bull. CAIR trying to keep Vilmar from blogging has got to be about as hard as carring water in a strainer. Vilmar will be back damn quick and giving CAIR all kinds of hell, and I’m going to sit back and laugh my ass off watching CAIR trying to stop him.

  21. I just found a site that could prove to be quite useful - Anti-CAIR

    http://www.anti-cair-net.org/

Posted by The Skipper    United States   12/16/2006  at  12:42 PM

  22. Skipper! Thank you so much.
I’ve been peeking around that site and it is quite interesting.
Finding all kinds of little gems!

Posted by Melissa in Texas    United States   12/16/2006  at  02:03 PM

  23. Hello again. Since my last comment, my webmail has been subject to about 20 times the usual amount of spam. Every couple of hours, it has been maxed out of its space quota, and I have to empty it out. The webmail site I use doesn’t delete the emails permanently, but moves them into the trash folder.

I reason I suspect this, is that the spammers are spoofing the domain name that I give in my member details on this site. So I get flooded out with the automatic replies from the firewalls or email servers of the recipients of the spammers’ initial emails.

So guys - any suggestions? Is there a webmail that will immediately delete spam without putting it in quarantine for my “convenience”? TIA.

Do you think the moonbats are in league with the spammers? Or am I just being paranoid?  angry

Posted by DWMF    United Kingdom   12/17/2006  at  03:00 PM

  24. Hmmmm. E-mail addresses are carefully hidden here, DWMF. Only registered members can view the profiles of other members and even then the e-mail address is hidden. If your e-mail address is on your WWW server then it might be a problem but then only if they flood your web server with all of the normal accounts (root, admin, webmaster, etc.) The only way members can e-mail each other here is if they (a) get the e-mail address from the other member or (b) use the internal mailer here which sends mail without revealing the addressee’s e-mail.

To answer your question, both Yahoo and GMail have a “Bulk Folder” feature that does not count against your space usage and is automatically purged at intervals you specify. You can also configure them to just delete the crap without even going into the Bulk Folder.

Sadly, for all of us, 90% of e-mail nowadays is spam. Dirty rotten rat-bastards!

Posted by The Skipper    United States   12/17/2006  at  03:42 PM

  25. Thanks, Skipper. A move to GMail it is then, with the delete-without-filing option.

Sadly, I had been using Operamail for about 6 years (since My-Deja.com folded), as Opera is the browser of my choice, with its easy-to-use zoom function.

The rat-bastards had taken the name of my personal website (clarifyexpert.com) and used it as the root of their spoofed senders (e.g. ). The victims’ mail daemons replied back to me - where the domain name redirected them to.

I shall also ask the company from whom I bought the domain name, to filter off all emails which do not have one of my valid names in front of the @.
