Can you conceive of this insanity? I would go off on a profane tirade, but I’ll simply say that nobody should have seen anything. The police should have received an anonymous phone call, and found the criminals duct taped to a lamp post. Or, the local populous should start protesting at the courthouse. And they damn sure better start voting in conservative politicians.
Hey, that’s not a bad idea at all. They haven’t banned duct tape yet have they? Better yet would be a nice sign around his neck “I’m a window smashing yob”. But that might take too long to create. Yeah, just duct tape him to the post. With or without his clothes.
And the decline of Western civilization continues. Does anybody read Herbert Spencer anymore?
What I got out of this is: shoot to kill. The gov’t will come for you anyway. Kill that bastard and at least keep him from preying on others.
Me? Ohio’s Democrat governor just signed a ‘Castle doctrine’ law. I no longer have a ‘duty to retreat.’ I can, and will, shoot you dead on my property. The wife and I are indeed taking firearms classes ... the goal is a CCW license for both of us. We will shoot first, ask questions if the bodies are found on our property.
I can just see it:
Officer: Why?
Us: They threatened to rape my wife. And kill me.
Officer: Couldn’t you have just stopped them?
Us: We did just ‘stop’ them.
Officer: Two to the chest, one in the head?
Us: Stopped. By definition.
I want you to note that it is always ‘they’ in the above fictional conversation. That means I was outnumbered.
Yeah, that. Anonymous phone call, taped to a lamp post. Deceased. With a sign on them saying, “Since you gentlemen are not allowed to do your job anymore, you were given an assist in the spirit of community service.”
