You know what this piece of garbage is worth - the very point of diff between Republicans and Democrats - That Republicans see Politics and most Politicians as a job, as people. Democrats see it as mystical, magical and POWER that must be obtained and controlled forever. And in that vein we must not just win, we must destroy our opponents. Anyway/Everyway possible.
I like GWB, voted for him both times. I think on the GWOT, he did 90% of the right things and admire him for standing tough against a whole slew of lies, distortions and utter turncoats (on both sides of ‘the aisle’).
He is however a politician - thus I do not hold him to any great and mystical position - while I admire and respect greatly the position of POTUS - in other areas (such as Shamnesty and the NCLB garbage) GWB was a failure in my eyes. Certainly not representative of Conservatism nor even Republicans at all.
I (being a college dropout) would never call someone who graduated from Yale and has an MBA from Harvard - an idiot. Ever. [Ms - sign with a British acting agency at 17 - Collins just might want to think about that too]
Those on the Left, however, can never, it seems, even conceed that a single negative situation might have been the result of anything that one of their’s did. Ever. No mention of crime, stupidity, amoral behavior, which can and ususally is proven to some degree in a court of law. [As an aside, Ted Kennedy, Alcee Hastings and soon to be William Jefferson are among the ones off the top of my head (it’s early give me a break) who saw the inside of police/court and still function (although I hear WJ lost his NO seat, Yeah) - while those on the right - Delay is in legal limbo, No charges against Foley and oh yeah Stevens was found guilty]
Until it is about America and stops being about Us vs Them - we will continue down this road of devisive, fraudulent and terrible government - rather than being about what is truly best for America.
And it needs to begin with a destruction of the Democrat Party as it is. They are the Party of Corruption, They are the Party of the Morally and Ethically Challenged and They are the Party of Devisiveness and Special Interests.
I’d rather have Corporations getting bennies - than some Special Interest Group (ACORN, Gay Marriage or Shamnesty) getting their agenda forced down my throat and into LAW any day.
And btw, I do not care a whit what any hack actress, actor and/or director in Hollyweird thinks politically - isn’t that just a different form of Lobbying? Which supposedly the Left hates (unless they do it and find a different word to describe it to the masses)!
