I used to think that the term ‘barbarian’ was just a literary term used to exaggerate one’s depravity. Apparently it’s not.
The buildings could be used for storage, a mosque, a home for orphans, a school, converted to apartments. I’ll wager that the everything the Israeli’s did to turn Gaza into a liveable, productive place will be undone. The existing crops will rot or dry up, the irrigation systems will fall into disrepair, the trees and buildings’ wood will be burned for cookfires, the roads will crumble into impassibility, and the gift the Palestinians have been given will be wasted. In a few years, we’ll see filthy kids wandering the area, youths hanging around uneducated and unemployed, row upon row of dirty crumbling, depressing mud and concrete hovels that pass for homes, and people full of hate yelling and waving fists in the air protesting something or another everytime cameras are present. Hate is all they have to offer. Everything these sand niggers touch turns to shit.
Israelites settled in the Gaza strip and made improvements,(an ego trip).
Palestinians recovered the strip and destroyed the improvements,(arrogance).

OCM-don’t confuse “Israeli” with “Jew”.
I’m 7/8 Jewish and my family DIDN’T come from Israel.
PS-"Palestine" is like a 40 year old that believes in the tooth fairy-neither is based in reality.

I keep thinking of Golda Meir. “There can only be peace when they will start to love their children more than they hate us.”
The Israelis are once again trading land for peace and will end up with neither. They did it unilaterally this time without the usual empty promise of peace, but they will allow the Paleosimians to show themselves once again for what they are. It’s entirely up to them what they make of the opportunity they have been given.
It would be nice if they’d turn away from the hatred and make something of Gaza but I don’t believe that they will. They have been given billions of dollars and have yet to lay a mile of road or put one brick upon another to build something. I fear that it’s not in their “culture”.
Were they to get their wish and all the Israelis left the Levant tomorrow they would turn the land back into desert within a decade and be fighting with their neighbors with a year. After all they were ejected from Jordan for trying to stage a revolutionary coup. This is one of the reasons their arab brethern won’t let them live in other arab countries. Do you blame them?
