Judging from photos it only looks like anywhere from 4” to 10” tops! That’s nothing at all to a New England-er! They certainly seem incompetent in their snow management. Councils more worried about their reputations and running out of sand, but to just sit on it and ration it as much as they are is just as bad! They look like clueless idiots who cannot manage a crisis! Sounds like someones gotten a clue, the military is finally going to the airports to help clear the runways!
In New England, within 5 - 6 hours after a storm here, the roads are mostly cleared by plows with sand, salt mixtures or the fancy new chemical de-icer on the highways. The only time we have shutdowns like England is experiencing is if we have an actual blizzard with over two feet of snow in a very short period of time. Then it’s just coming down too fast to keep up with it. The problem then becomes, where to put the mountains of snow? Parks, school yards, open fields, etc. This is why NYC has diesel snow melting machines, position it over a storm drain, fire it up and start dumping side loaders full of snow into it.
Abdulbah I. is married and a father of eight children, according to Bild. The victim was also a father.
People fail to grasp the effects of demographics. These kids will have lets say just three kids each (but probably more) and within a couple of generations they are the majority. Turd world status will be the EU legacy to Europe.
Truth, but it’s England doncha know. They have palm trees growing in London. They aren’t built to handle cold weather. Well, not much more than a few day’s worth, or the occasional inch of short-lived snow.
Think what a mess Mexico City would be if they had a foot of snow. And it stayed. And went sub-freezing for a month, with more snow. Um, actually, that would probably clean up and clean out the city quite well. It would certainly knock a lot of the brown stuff out of the air. But people would be dying left and right. And the USA would have to spend billions cleaning it up, so some new drug cartel could come in and screw it up again later.
Here’s a little piece from the Sydney Morning Herald. Anyone want to counter with one of the Glowbal Warming arguments? I’m in Southern California where we’re having one of the coldest and rainiest fall/winter seasons I’ve seen in a long time.
There’s a mini ice age coming, says man who beats weather experts
Its all caused by AGW dontcha know:
