Ah she is now on to boycotting Goya after the CEO praised Trump. I love Tembleque - a Puerto Rican coconut pudding (think coconut flan or panna cotta) Yummy. Here, Jungle Jim’s is the only place that sells it - and their Goya/Latino sections are the bomb. American’s don’t get it - 90% of the stuff from England, Europe, and Latin America - is much healthier for you - in the sense of the pre-packaged, processed stuff. It has less sugar and already leans toward vegetarian. I just happen to love coconut (just about anything) and my oldest daughter had a Puerto Rican friend in middle school when we were in KY and introduced her to it. Love, love, love it. Much like a ladies meeting I went to (also in KY) and two of the women went to a Korean place for carry out. I’d never eaten Korean food. Kind turned off of it from a friend whose Korean wife made kimchee. Yuck. But I loved it all and got addicted to Yaki Man Du. Even in the International store they only carry Man Du (Yaki is veggie only) - so it’s as close as I can get. Stopped frying my own anything years ago. Oh and our latest love is Young’s Cod and Chips Dinner. A very British item that is just so good. Frozen at Wally World - go figure.
Ah to be young again. I’m just glad I never was as stupid as Ms O-C, ever.
