Brits to take on pirates ?

 

1. Mercenaries? What, you mean all the cabdrivers in London? At least they already speak the language!

   Seriously though, just bomb the crap out of them. Indiscriminate blanket bombing of all cities, towns, and groups of more than 3 mud huts. Naval bombardment from 1 mile offshore.

   Tell them that the bombardment will continue until a) all ships and hostages are released, and b) $150 million ransom tribute is paid.

   Get the people, get the ships, get the money, and then continue the bombing. Ooopsie, we lied. It was $750 million. Want to renegotiate? Fine. Here’s another 30 tons of random incoming. The price is now $1 billion.

   Take the additional money. Then set fire to everything from one end of the coast to the other, to a distance of 5 miles inland. Everything. Then go home.

   Problem solved.
