2. BHO’s father was one of those captured.  At that particular time and place, most of the prisoners were executed out of hand.  For some reason, they let him live and made him a cook instead. 

   Damn.

   (An old family friend was one of the soldiers involved.  I don’t know if this is in any formal history of the time.)

3. OK, I read the article.  Torture hell, he was a cook for the Brits the whole time.  The family friend is alive and still living in England.  It would be interesting to hear him testify in court.  Unfortunately, he has drunk much too much Koolaide since then.

   Cos they are darn pretty and most especially the first one on my post and Drew’s contribution below the fold. But if you look at the one I did before this, I don’t think there were any at all.

7. They tried this crap a few years back. A load of Kenyan whores tried ot sue the British Army for compensation because they got knocked up. The case was dismissed I believe but what I would like to know is who pays for the shyters. I think it unlikely they do this crap out of the kindness of their hearts. The Mau Mau were ruthless, murderous savages who deserved all they got.

   I’m actually not sure if I got your response or not.  I’ll go check and let you know. 

   After way to long mostly unemployed, I finally have a steady job and some nice prospects ahead.  For some time now, I’ve been living more in realtime than on line.
