Britain’s rat infestation, growing at an alarming rate.  (wonder if they counted the MIL in this)

  1. One disease that no rat will ever evolve immunity against is high velocity lead poisoning.

And I hate to say I Told Ya So, but I did. First the trash piles up. Then come the rats. Then comes the plague.

  2. I thought socialism attracts rats?

  3. Hey, you can cook them. If you get past the ickyness of the fact that it’s a rat, they are an edible protein source. And they get pretty big. Nobody ever eat “bushy-tail tree-rat” here? It’s food, if you need food. I’ve seen people starve to death in the midst of plenty, because of “sensibilities” or lack of knowledge.

  4. Mind you, I would attempt to avoid city rats. Country rats, while still rats, are not nearly as disgusting in their consumption habits. But if you’re hungry, it’s protein.

  5. A former colleague caught Weils disease from working in areas where rats run. A very nasty disease if not caught in time. Recently a half-witted woman in the UK “rescued” a rat and was bitten for her trouble. She subsequently died. I’m with Drew the best solution is lead at high velocity.
