I dunno ... bracing WHILE flushing ... sounds rather uncomfortable.
I met a couple (1980s) whose entire families (both sides) were either in prison or on welfare - they lorded over all of them - that he had a paycheck and that they were in a 4 bedroom apartment and that they were able to buy a new car (Nissan). [Aside within 3 years - they too were back home in OH, on welfare] This is probably a step up for them - as they have a solid roof over their head and only have to walk to a grocery store - knowing that once they get on the dole - they will have housing, food, etc all on someone else’s dime - and that they will NEVER be forced to go back home, EVER.
They’re infesting Ireland too. Dublin is a haven for the Roma Gypos who beg, pick-pocket and swarm ATM users to grab their money.
As per usual the Garda (cops) do virtually nothing, nada.
Why?
Partially because they are afraid of the Gypos, but mainly it’s because they know if they crack down on the thieving maggots they’ll just be bombarded by accusations of “racism” from their own Irish citizens, who have developed a martyr-like culture that sees the bums and criminal scum as “victims” and the decent honest people as parasitic hosts who must feed the vermin because of some twisted moral ethos.
The entire country sucks.
My time in this lunatic asylum is growing short. Only 3 months and about 9 days and I’m out of this moronic society for ever!
Yankee, not sure if it’s quite that bad here. Yet. But as Lyndon would confirm, bad enuff to bitch about.
Anyway ... good luck and don’t fergit the yanks left behind :>( and more or less stuck here.
Although it must be said the food is great.:>) And markets deliver to your door. Pity many of the folks who are called pickers who fill your bags at Tesco for delivery, can’t or won’t read English.
