BRIT MARINES DEFEATED IN BATTLE AGAINST HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES. SAY WHAT?

  1. It’s only what they deserve. Ever since they surrendered to the Iranians without the tiniest fight I’ve had no respect for them whatsoever.

Real Marines would have told Elf & Safety to fuck off, and either gone ahead and done their thing, or gone home. That they let the pussies push them around just proves that they’re still the Pansy Brigade. Doesn’t matter to me whether either decision was made by the men or by their leaders. They’re all in it together. Come to think of it, I don’t know any U.S. Marines who would respect either of those decisions. I DO know several who are still mortified about their UK cousin’s rubber boat event with Iran from a couple years ago though.

  2. Drew, The true test is their sacrifice ongoing in Afghanistan. The bodies are being brought home every day. The papers show their photos and I always feel a bit empty when I see those young faces. And even the older ones who have paid the price of their enlistment.

These guys really aren’t wusses at all.  Yeah, that episode with the Navy and the crybaby and his ... what the hell was it? His cell phone or some other electronic toy. Fact is, those wimps would never have made the Army or Marines. They’d have washed out first.

These poor bastards you’re talking about would really have had no say in the matter, and I feel sorry for them. Bet they’re upset but hardly in any position to do anything about it on a personal level. But I think, without knowing how these things work over here, that the top brass or whoever decides these things, should have told H&S to stuff it.  On the other hand, maybe they couldn’t. ???  Might be something to pursue tho.

  3. I know, and you’re right of course. But this kind of thing makes them look like little sissy girls. Not their fault, and perhaps pretty silly to be doing a re-enactment in the first place. Especially after what happened with that WWII re-enactment the month before last (no Germans allowed to take part in the battle).
