  1. Thank god Coca Cola isn’t on there, I could have been in REAL trouble.....

  2. Doritos........don’t forget guys thats a FritoLay product.

  3. Isn’t Ben and Jerry’s already on every boycott list?  It doesn’t seem to be hurting them much, not that I would take a chance and ever give them a dime.

  4. Hmmmm, I checked this list twice and can say with almost 99% certainty that I do not endorse, buy, rent, or otherwise support any of these companies.  I don’t watch TV, I eat none of these snacks/junk foods, I buy no more music, don’t have a cell phone and can’t identify the others.

I hope they all go bankrupt.

  5. Vilmar, I DO watch TV and not one of those
listees is selling me anything. None. How can
I boycott if I ain’t buyin’ their shit in the first place?

  6. No argument from me!  However, just for GPs, don’t watch those shows anyway.  It’s good for the self-discipline portion of our inner self.

  7. The only thing on the list that I use is AOL........sorry guys, I ain’t giving that up.........give us a little break here.......

  8. Dottie, find a local provider.  Your connection will be faster, no pop-ups or other annoying ads, pages will load faster, you’ll save money (I pay $15 for dial up here and have unlimited access, no cut offs for inactivity, free web page, multiple emails, etc.) and you’ll feel better about yourself for having helped out a bit!  grin

  9. I’m also on AOL. It really bites but hubby does e-bay-he sells model trains., and his whole account is tied to AOL. It would really f things up to change everything.

  10. I take that back! Mike just said that if AOL wants to play reindeer games, well e-bay will work just as well on another server. Yea!

  11. To be fair, I’m sure that some companies are listed because they’re part of some Advertising deal. But the whole list sucks. I’m with Steel, these guys don’t get anything from me.

BTW, Motorola suprised me the most. I know they have a huge contract with the govt.

  14. Vilmar- I do have another IPS- have high speed internet access with my cable company but also chose to keep AOL for some particular reasons........I don’t eat ice cream or snack foods, no longer watch The West Wing, have a cell phone but it’s not a Motorola, buy very few CD’s, don’t own a DVD player, etc. etc. etc, and I don’t buy stuff from TV advertisements.........Hell, I haven’t even figured out how to download music with iTunes on my computer.............
Oh, BTW- GO CARDS - BYE BYE ASTROS!!!!!!!!

  15. WWE being on there doesn’t make sense. They were honored just this year by the USO because of their work honoring our troops…

Other than them and BMG (who I haven’t bought anything from for a few months now) I don’t see any others on this list that affect me.

Oh and an announcement on my part: Jas finishes Class A Aircraft Mechanic school on the 19th and we’ve got orders to...*drumroll*

NAS Brunswick, Maine. They want him there no later than Nov 8th…

  16. Severa, congrats to hubby!!!  So it’s off to Maine, huh?  Dress WARMLY!!!!  Bring a snow shovel.
