1. Teaching union leaders say they are shocked at the incident and are concerned for the welfare of their members.

   Oh cry me a river, you simpering bunch of useless tools.  Unions, a pox on all of them.

   If you can’t disarm a knife wielding 5-year-old child, you have officially reached the end of your usefulness on planet Earth.  Please delete yourself at your earliest opportunity.

   but there definitely needs to be measures put in place to make sure he doesn’t do this again.

   You mean like turning the little shit over your knee, yanking his pants down, and spanking his ass in front of the class until it’s red, and the punk kid is sobbing uncontrollably for the next 20 minutes in response?  Like THAT?

   Because if I were in teaching, and some punk 5 year old did that to me, I think I’d have to say “Screw this” to my career, and go out on a high note like that.

   Yeah, they’d fire me, they’d try to jail me, but my response would be old, true, and time-tested, and that kid would NEVER try that shit on an adult again.

   Maybe if teachers started doing this en-masse, having had “more than enough” of this kind of shit from kids, the tide would have to turn.  Go ahead, fire all of them… see what that gets you?

   Gah, I’m in a rowdy mood today.  Yup.

2. Is that the picture they showed with the story??
   
   This is like the pics they show with gun stories, when they show file footage of some schmuck shooting an M-16 when all was found was a .22…
   Still, spare the rod and spoil the child.. then go to prison for 8 years.
