bowling blues and more snow

Just wait Drew - we had snow and freezing rain yesterday - and the temps (-20 to -30 degrees) are headed our way. Yeah - what fun and we have at least 6 more weeks of it.
Drove the old car yesterday - didn’t make it but to the next street over - flat time (nail in it) - luckily we had two spares (the stupid mini one and the best tire after we put on a new set). Added a cold 30 minutes to the shopping trip. Now I’m glad we did it yesterday and not today.
And oh yeah - the dishwasher quit cleaning yesterday too. When the repair costs start to match the purchase price - we have a box of the plastic parts that have fallen off, the dispenser piece has already been replaced once ($109.) and then broke again and we bought a new silverware basket - it’s a lemon (Sears Kenmore Elite, 2001)
Oh well, I guess in this Obama economy - we will truly be down to a roof over our head and food to eat - what we can carry on the bus.
And we have 10 times the ‘average’ savings in America right now.
That is damn scary in America. Where did my country go?
I’m with you on the snow, Drew. I just got in from snowblowing the driveway and walks a second time this morning. Ugh.
