2. Nah, not jealous. I do appreciate sartorial excellence though, and in the small niche world of bowling fashion, these shirts were out at the cutting edge. Granted that bowling fashion is pretty much stuck either in 1952, or somewhere on the beaches of Hawaii.

   And in a way, they’re also a bit humorous in a pathetic way. There are only 5 1/2 teams on this dinky little poor-boy league, so it does seem a bit of an outrageous waste of cash to spend so much on such a shirt for such a group. Especially when we only have 7 weeks left to go, and the league itself might die of attrition next year. Still, I recognize the desire to go out with a bang.

   I’m just glad they didn’t all go out and get gold caps on their teeth instead.
