Of course there isn’t - it’s part of their Hurt the US scheme. Everyone knows that the USC is full of it.
And now Turkey is on the edge of invading Iraq. They’re sick and tired of those Kurds pushing for independence by blowing things up. Of course, the Kurds already occupy about half of Turkey, cuz they live there, so that might be a rather suicidal thing to do.
Think Iraq is a confusing mess? Wait till this one boils over!
I think it’s time for a Free Kurdistan. If we push for it and support it, can it be done? Or would this be the match that lights the fuse of Armageddon?

Drew stay away from it! I know some Turks and they are very sensitive about it. Suppose there was a similar issue with American Indians and a push for separate homelands? And it was being pushed by, say GB, Germany, France, Japan, China, Russia - all the big powers? Combine that with a bombing campaign by some Indian crazies, and it would be trouble that nobody needs.
Watch for their next move.. Condemning America for their Actions against the British in the American Revolution…
This is all about Iraq and the war on terror. By any measure you’d have to blind or one of the Moonbats not to see that things are going much better over there. They can not allow this to continue...not if they want to repeat Vietnam and defeat us and our allies.
Most of our supplies are transiting Turkey. The Turks have been exercising forbearance at our behest against Kurdish provocations. If that Commie Whore PelHOsi can cut us off from Turkey and get them to make trouble against the Kurds we may see everything in Iraq go up in smoke.
The next moves will likely involve condemning Japan and Germany for WWII atrocities. Maybe some shots about Polish and French collaboration with Hitler over the Jews. Some more shots at causing trouble in Pakistan. Any thing to alienate our “warmonger” friends or newly elected Conservative leaders. The only relationships the left wants to pursue are with folks like Chavez, Castro, Ortega, Armageddon-eye-jab, and Assad. Maybe promises of a future US disarmament conference at the UN.

Another example of the Democrat’s terminal stupidity. Taking a bad situation and making it worse. A democracy like ours requires a loyal opposition to whoever is in power. What the Democrats seem to have forgotten is the word “LOYAL”. That means that you do not injure the best interest of your country. In this case, I’d say that not only are they hurting our interests abroad, they are making us a laughing stock with their inane waste of time.
The events in Turkey of 1915 are quite important. However, this is neither the time nor the place for Congress to waste time debating about them. One very important item that seems to be ignored by everyone is that Kemal Ataturk displaced the Ottoman’s and created tremendous reforms in Turkish society. The current Turks are not (weren’t may be more accurate, current events are worrisome) politically related to the Ottoman Turks of 1915. The current crap is akin to condemning the United States for slavery. How many of you feel personally responsible for it and how would you feel if a major ally chose to make a large and very public issue about it? How can the Democrats be so stupid?
Dr. Jeff - because they (Dems in Congress) only want to create defeat and failure in Iraq and make Bushhitlerburtonco look bad (because it always comes down to America is Wrong and Bush is currently the ‘leader’ of America) at each and every turn. . .It is also about the fact that despite the ‘mandate’ of Nov ‘06 and despite the ‘truth’ that the majority of Americans want us out of Iraq - the Dem run Congress can not get anything that they want (Cut and Run from Iraq, Shamnesty, Universal Hillary Care) through and signed. They know it, the People know it, President Bush knows it and thus our Government has become stalled over a group who will not compromise, not give in nor even begin to negoiate with the enemy (Republicans) ever.
But even this is going the way of everything other than the Minimum Rage, oops Wage - down in flames. Come on people - whoever is out there voting in the favorable Congressional handling of business polls - you are not trying hard enough - just 2% points lower and they are into single digits - this stupid Armenian resolution (non-binding, run before twice(failied)and utterly pointless) should be the piece de resistance - the crowning (non) achievement of the 110th Congress. . .let’s vote correctly now - Congress is doing nothing of value, merit or worthiness and let’s all shoot for a 100% non-favorable or (for those in Rio Linda) a 0% favorable rating.
Hey, I just got a great idea - let’s make Congressional pay not only attached to attendance/voting (cut for those who skip) but also to the favorable ratings polls - wow, they’d be at almost nothing - think of the savings to taxpayers if we could figure out a way to get it legalized!!
Rick, Jeff, and wardmama, I WAS going to say pretty much what you’ve already said. The DU, due to BDS, doesn’t want American sucess. Actually, come to think of it, it’s not the BDS (although that’s the most current example of it) but the fact that they WANT the fall of America. They are, and have been for the last 40 or so years, puppets of their soviet/socialist in whichever guise masters. McCarthy was right. And for all you military members out there? REMEMBER YOUR OATH OF ENLISTMENT! Timing. Timing.

Did you all catch Fortney Pete Stark’s (D-CA) remarks on the Floor today? ‘heads blown off for Bush’s amusement’ crappola? (I think Drudge has it posted) I sent emails to my Representative and Ms Pelosi to strike them from the Congressional record - while a Republican is calling for an apology or resignation - this man should be shot - Treason people. We need a good trial for Treason (although I think Mother Sheehan would be the best, as almost no one would care anymore) to stop this vile behavior.
It is absolutely ridiculous that, as we are at war, and as the penalty for treason during time of war is(or at least used to be) death, and the definition of treason is aiding and abbetting the enemy, these scum HAVEN’T been taken out and shot. 6 pm. Live, all channels. Would you like to know more?
