Bookstores In US Surrender To Islam

3. Uhhhnnnn ... I dunno. At least they didn’t couch their explanation in some lame excuse about not wishing to offend Muslims.    They said they don’t want to put their employees in danger—not the worst motive in the world.  I recall back in the “Satanic Verses” days some bookstore employees voted to carry the thing.

   Remember, it’s their employees they are looking out for, not themselves.

Hmmmm .. so, following your analogy, Oink, if I don’t like Popular Mechanics magazine all I have to do is threaten to kill any bookstore owner who carries the magazine and that will be enough to make them stop carrying it? A threat of violence is sufficient to shutdown a store? Are you sure you don’t want to re-think that?

5. I take the point the “Free Inquiry” and “Islam” don’t fit so good. And in my bookstore, where I work, angry Moslems would be welcome to kiss my ass. It’s the issue of me putting other people in danger.

   Also I stipulate that we stop screwing around with Moslem rioters and threateners, so this problem doesn’t continue indefinitely.

7. Ya see, here’s the problem.

   On one side, you have nice Christian people, who’s beliefs include, that shalt not murder.

   Then you have the MOOslims on the other side, who;s belief included, KILL THE INFIDEL.

   SO, if you make fun a Christian, they will turn the other cheek.

   If you offend a MOOslim, they will stab you in the cheek, clear into your brain.

8. Yes, it’s a victory for Islamists.  The threat of fear has now successfully abridged the 1st Amendment.  Islam is setting a great example for the world - better living through intimidation.

   Anyone read Fahrenheit 451 lately?

   

   Hey where’s the ACLU?  Where are the civil rights groups?  Are Moslems the only people who count?

9. Heard today on the news that a non-nuclear 700 TON bomb (yes, SEVEN HUNDRED, tons, or one point four million pounds) is going to be test-fired today in the Nevada Desert. Too bad we don’t have a super-duper godzailla-sized B-52 that could carry this monster over to Mecca and we can show those towelheads just how much we appreciate that disgusting little “Osama” figurine.

   THAT should give a whole new meaning to the term “go pound sand”
