Don’t need one. We already have a style for that, although it isn’t formalized in CSS (which takes XML and thus we could make a tag. But it’s just too easy to do it like this:
- Terry Pratchett, Interesting Times
the iBooks part is just the data vector. Print or digital, it’s still the same book.
Rincewind is the greatest. Shame he’s become a parody of himself in TP’s latest books. I think that’s the Alzheimer’s.
I believe Rincewind was a parody to begin with. Terry Pratchett parodies everything. I think. Not certain about the witches. I would not want to get on Granny Weatherwax’s bad side. Or Nanny Ogg’s bad side either. Magrat Garlick? Iffy, but she is a potentially powerful witch. Married to the King of Lancre. Stay on her good side too. Kings can have your head chopped off.
The iBooks tag just automatically happens anytime I copy/paste from iBooks.
Please note, Drew, that I’m still refraining from posting naked women and vegetables.
Most of us go our whole lives that way Chris. You’ve got to take it one day at a time. You have the power; you can do it.
Parody - well yes, that’s what makes him so great. Rincewind is so far over the anti-hero horizon that he manages to save the world all the time merely because it gets dragged along in his wake while he’s running away.
What I’d meant was that since The Last Hero or thereabouts he’s been a parody of himself - a walk on role. “And heeeere’s Rincewind!” “Hiya folks! Be afraid, run away, we’re all gonna die, fate is out to get me. Wizzzzard! I’m here all week, try the veal, and tip your waitresses!” The same way DEATH would always show up conversationally in every book somehow. AND YOU’D KNOW IT.
Get a room you two.
Rich, appears you could have a room for two by yourself. That is a disgusting avatar.
Drew, working my way through the Discworld books again, haven’t make it to The Last Hero yet. I do have the hots for a certain Susan Sto Helit. Guess I like to live dangerously. She is Death’s granddaughter. They even made a couple of movies with her.
