  4. -’He Whose Middle Name is Not to Be Spoken then drops these pearls’-

That line alone is worth posting that piece every where (and anywhere) - well worth the trip.

Has anyone asked Barry Hussein Obama - how he is going to remove the nuclear power, oops sorry WEAPONS all ready in parts of the World who will respond with F You - if America is lucky - Does not this socialistic empty suit even read a newspaper or watch tv news or maybe even attend a single session of the Senate to realize that more than the evilbushitlerburtonco controlled USA has nukes?!?

Or is this another one of his - it’s just electioneering talk - don’t worry about it?!?
    Harley - Forget 2012 - Run Fred Run in 2008 -

  5. On a related note - with nowhere else to put it - did every see or hear about the ‘exchange’ between Senator McCain and Senator Obama in the last couple days?

Senator Obama was asked at a news conference about his response if after pulling our troops out of Iraq, he found Al-Queda was establishing a base in Iraq.  He replied he would sent troops back in.  The exchange was to that effect.

From across the country, Senator McCane responded with to Senator Obama’s statement by saying, “… I’ve got news; Al Queda is in Iraq now.”

Whereupon Senator Obama responded across the country, “… I’ve got news… Al Queda wasn’t there until [the U. S.] invaded Iraq.”

    Does everyone remember this?

Okay.  So why hasn’t the obvious question been asked of Senator Obama?

Senator Obama, since you said you would use American troops in Iraq to forestall the implimentation of an ‘Al-Queda base’ in Iraq; and since you acknowledge the presence of Al-Queda in Iraq, wouldn’t it be simpler to leave the troops in place until the threat of Al-Queda is eliminated?

Alternately, what is the difference between Al-Queda being in Iraq due to our presence and the establishment of a base in Iraq?  Why does one require military action on our part and the other does not?

Why doesn’t anyone ask him this?  (Okay, we know why CNN or the NYTimes doesn’t ask; I was thinking about either Senator Clinton, Senator McCain or perhaps someone in journalism.) (Okay, we know why Senator Clinton won’t ask.)

    Thoughts?

  6. 2 thoughts here:

    1) Archie, quit talking in rational terms.  It disturbs people.

    2) I’m a child of the 60’s, no apology.  That doesn’t mean that I don’t know the difference between a “world of lollipops and cookies” and the asshats in Iran and elsewhere.  Hmmmm, maybe that’s why I understand the difference, been there, done that.  What scares me though is that so many people believe empty rhetoric with a religious fervor.  Theoretically at least, these people aren’t stoned or drunk.  They’re ordinary citizens.  Critical thinking, analyzing speech and written material for content and meaning, used to be important.  Nowadays, it seems that only a very few people do it or believe it has importance.  The tabloid model of campaign politics isn’t entirely wrong.

  8. Just a thought. Is everybody voting for Obama (village idiot) to keep Hillary (obvious socialist) from getting the nomination and then voting for McCain in November?
