The lack of the “Video Recordings Act” means that videos that weren’t given a rating can suddenly be viewed by adults in the UK.  Imagine that, a big behemoth government that has been intruding ever increasingly and ridiculously into people’s lives, just got its legal authority pulled down around its ankles.

    What a refreshing change (if you don’t look at it solely from the darkest interpretations of possible events.)

    As for the straw/fire incident:  Good on him for pushing back.

    By the way, I may have asked this before, and if I have and have forgotten the answer, I apologize:  What legal authority do these Health and Safety “officers” have?  Obviously this guy mocked them and they left… That gives me some hope that they aren’t given a carte-blanche legally.

    Wow .. Shamed to say, I never actually thought of that. I think Lyndon if he sees this can answer better then I can.
    I do know however that an awful lot of this H and S BS does get enforced.
