It’s not what you think.

  1. Drew, use a recent image. That one has been on the web for three+ years.

  2. I remember when that picture was new Chris. That’s why I used the Is she sorry? line.

But that’s an easy enough thing to fix. See the update.

  3. Much better Drew. She’s still hot. If I were a merchant I’d hire her with all her ‘weaponry’.

    Readership is pleased.

Damn, where were hotties like that when I was in the service?

  4. Just keep your comments clean about my blog buddy here. I find myself highly defensive on her behalf. Not that she needs it; I’m sure she could rip most of you in half. Must be some of my latent dad-ism surfacing. But there it is, so you’re all aware.

  5. My comments have been ‘clean’. Carnal perhaps, but clean. Carnally clean? Cleanly carnal? With armament like that, I’m sure she can take care of herself. I’m getting old, but I still remember what to do with a hottie like that. Just don’t remember how to do it.

  6. I hadn’t seen any of these pictures before, and yes I’ll admit that I was thoroughly in lust when I saw the first picture. Now to be fair, part of that is simply because she’s a delightful little beauty, as shown by not only the first picture but the following ones. But at least half the reason for my response WAS the weaponry, the facial expression, the sentiment expressed.
I’m nearly 50, and all my life I’ve been hearing various men tell me that women *should be* subservient to men. I’ve always thought true beauty was much more a function of attitude than mere looks, and when I see a picture like that I think, “Yeah, that. What EVER would possess a man to want a woman who would walk behind him, once he’d laid eyes on one strong enough to walk BESIDE him?”

Just knowing someone like her exists gives me hope for the future.

  7. Right Grumpy. I’m married to a delightful little beauty. Sometimes she just takes orders...other times WHERE DID THAT WHIP COME FROM?

Oh, I’ve not posted them, but I’ve some pics of my wife in lingerie with a gun. HOT!

  8. GoF “behind him ... beside him” that sounds like another RAH quote? And I agree completely; much better to have a strong partner than a weak submissive anchor. And my other remark wasn’t directed at you personally Christopher. But I’ve seen what happens when pictures of pretty girls get posted on some blogs, and I’d prefer not to have that here, that’s all.

Yeah, I think she’s adorable too ... got to be the cutest drill seargent in the Army. ("cute" and “drill seargent” being two terms I never in a million years expected to us in the same sentence!)

  9. Drew, you should know us better. We are BMEWS. Scantily clad armed women just turn us on. Because they are well armed, we do not make fun of them. Last thing I need is some Army sergeant, no matter how cute, hunting me down. Hell, my wife would probably help her.

Still trying to figure the RAH quote…

  10. Drew, I’ll take that as one of the highest compliments I have ever recieved. No, that’s not a Heinlein quote, although he has expressed very similar sentiments in various places. That one was straight from the heart.

  11. GoF’s line does sound like something out of one of those RAH homesteading novels doesn’t it?  or what was that other one ... Farmer in the Sky? From Hazel Stone to Friday, RAH always gave the ladies brains and guts and intellect, so it seems to fit. You guys are the experts.

  12. Why, you’re certainly welcome GoF ... but it does sound awfully familiar. Then again, there’s

“Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend.” - Albert Camus

and a few others along that theme line.

  13. Now you’ve done it Drew. You invoked Albert Camus. I was required to read ‘The Stranger’ in high school. I’m still traumatized over that. Can you say suicidally boring? Camus sucks, give me Shakespeare!

Yeah, though I read French authors...I will fear no evil, because I’ve Simon R. Green to read.
