  2. Snakey, you crack me up! LOL

Plus, you are more than worthy - some of your comments are fantastic. Heck, I’ve wondered if you wanted to be a poster here, but I haven’t yet offered because I know that your life has so many other demands on it. But if you want it, it’s yours.

  3. As I tell my hubby on a daily basis - I know nuttin’ ‘bout birthin’ no computers - if it weren’t for him and the kids - I’d play cards on it all day (On the first computer my first husband owned - all I could do is get it programed to run a loop - I Love You - all day long - DOS was never one of my strong points). Heck I couldn’t even get a stupid Family Tree CD to work yesterday (ended up putting the data into an Access database until we get a real program (like one with an instruction book))!!!

I’ve been so busy lately I don’t know if I’m coming or going - and the flowerbeds and ‘back 40’ really, really need to have a machete taken to them - but since we still haven’t cleaned the gutters (hey, but we did buy a ladder) - I’m not thinkin’ any of it’s going to happen soon. This year sucks - somehow my time isn’t my time and I don’t feel like I do a damn thing other than laundry and cooking. And it doesn’t help that it’s either blazing hot or cold and rainy (emphasis on cold and rainy).

The good news is that this is the last year of this - they all graduate next year (2 daughters and one hubby) - so he won’t be working and going to school (both basically part time). Of course by then Our Fearless Reader will have tanked the economy so that we will be out planting the garden and the ‘back 40’ - just to have some food to eat. And we will both be greeters at the local Wally World.

  5. Drew writes a many-repeated “Thank you!”:

You’re most welcome, Drew!  There’s a wonderful feel to the site provided by you, Peiper, Christopher, and the other posters:  “Western Alliance”.
