  1. That was an interesting little ditty, but I don’t think my wife would appreciate it, so I’ll keep it to myself.  But I can identify with it:

    It’s a small world:  I served aboard the USS Sterett as a radioman; we spent a lot of time in the Gulf stationed as PIRAZ radar picket ship.  I remember the Truxtun from radio traffic, although I do not recall being on station with her at the same time.  I think she came in as relief ship, and us for her.  Anyway.....
