Gutterman, I don’t know what ‘Fred’ has to do with it. But for sure I’ll have another beer.
If the US should deal with it, why was Kerry’s sister in my city, Calgary, a few weeks ago, campaigning for Kerry? Canada, especially Calgary, has a large US ex-pat community. Thank God that in Calgary they are mostly oil business conservatives, and I think they ignored the Kerry sister. However, the woman was also in eastern Canada, infested, as you probably know, with leftoids. Many of those leftoids are US citizens, eligible to vote. Draft dodgers and worse.
Also, sensible Canadians (there are a few) look carefully at US elections out of obvious self-interest. When a mouse lives next to an elephant every action of the elephant is very, very important. Bush has hurt us a bit with border closures on cattle and steel tarriffs, but sensible Canadians know a Kerry victory would be a catastrophe for you, and so also for us.
