2. Ok, got the cat ladies’ place done. Ye Gods. Every time I go there the first thing I do is open up every window in the house, then take a break. With at least a dozen cats and 5 litter pans, the aroma is almost solid. Yowzers.

   Now for a double shower and those clothes for the wash. Then off to the bank, then I can do some dishes, then I can figure out how to use this RCBS lube-a-matic bullet sizer / luber thingy. It’s part of that giant pile of gun thingys Doc F bought. He’ll sell it eventually, but we’ll use it first on the whole pile of cast bullets that came with it. WTH, may as well “make sure it works properly”. (yeah, “gun thingys” - the SOB got 10 long guns and 5 pistols for 2 grand [including 2 870 Wingmasters, an 1100, a nice 70s vintage Rem 700 in .30-06, a pre-move High Standard Victor .22 and a mint S&W K-38 Masterpiece], then paid an extra $200 for all the extra gear - a Mec 600 shotshell press, a Dillon RL550, a Lee lead furnace, this sizer, 50 boxes of .38/.357 brass with cases, a brand new tumbler and a media separator. Plus molds, lead, a bucket full of cast pistol bullets, and 8 rifle scopes. Damn, that extra kit is worth $1000+ right there, even 2nd hand. Why can’t I find deals like that??)

   Hell yes, shower time. Just sitting here for 3 minutes I realize I smell like cat pee. Yuk.

3. Drew:  Even with 5 litter boxes, if she’s not keeping the litter scooped and new litter added regularly (assuming it’s clumping) then yes, it’ll get pungent quickly.  Sounds like she’s simply got too many cats to take care of properly.

   I have a really sensitive sense of smell, and we own three cats.  My work desk is near their litter boxes (yes, two boxes for three cats, it really is required) and guess who cleans them regularly?  Yup, yours truly.

   If I leave it too long, I get to pay the price of my eyes watering, and what’s left of my hair wilting!  You can be damned sure I don’t tend to leave it too long.

   How does the cat lady STAND it when she walks in her house?!  That’s what I can’t figure out.
