Bitter Pill

  1. Yeah, I’m glad to see some of the media starting to realize that while Bushco might not be their cup of tea, the lunatic left of the dnc is worse. I can’t find a doctor, counselor (for my adult son) locally willing to take Tricare, so much for a ‘lifetime’ benefit. Man, oh man I now wished we’d been paid comparable civilian pay and been able to establish with an acceptable insurer before we all fell apart, medically speaking. Universal (i.e. government run) healthcare sounds great, but it sucks. I’ve been part of it for 31 years and must admit that the majority of the doctors did not wow me. And my whole family is either docs or legal so I know what I’m talking about. And I got to taste the German socialist med system. Only reason I didn’t go ballestic is that I liked my doc but their hospitals are downright scary. And the red tape and bureauacracy is awful. Secretly I think that this is just a plan to get federal funding of abortion, cloning and euthanasia - the dnc - the culture of death.
And now just get a load of this little gem - wonder when they are going to force this through . . .
‘Last month, I wrote a three-part series for the Daily Dose about your right to “informed consent” in the testing of new medical treatments (read: drugs) - or rather, your lack thereof under little-known, built-in loopholes in federal law…

Well, already there’s somewhat of an update to this story - one that’s pretty damn startling, if you ask me.

Actually, it’s more like a parallel component of the same story - the erosion of your basic American right to know what untested substances are being pumped into your body by doctors or healthcare professionals (or agents of the government) in the name of security, public safety, or “medical advancement.”

Here’s the new angle: Much like the federal law (21CFR50.24) which allows just about anyone in a lab coat to use American citizens for test animals for whatever needle or pill Big Pharma wants to try out, the U.S. Congress is inches from passing yet another piece of legislation making it easier for the establishment to test their chemicals out on YOU…

    Shocker.

According to a recent alert from a group called Citizens for Legitimate Government, the Senate just granted passage to a Bill that establishes a new government agency called the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). This law expands the U.S. government’s power to test drugs - most likely vaccines - on the citizenry.

Under the legislation which will no doubt soon breathe life into this BARDA monster (called the Pandemic and All-hazards Preparedness Act), all that has to happen for your right to informed consent to swirl down the toilet of corrupt political morass is this: The Department of Homeland Security must declare a public health emergency…

Once that happens - are you ready for this - Big Brother’s new jack-booted drug thugs will be able to QUARANTINE AND FORCE EXPERIMENTAL MEDICATION on anyone they want. What’s worse is that under the law, anyone injured by these drugs or vaccines would have no legal recourse in civil courts.

The House is set to vote on this invasive measure imminently. I’ll keep you posted as this outrageous deadly farce develops.’

  2. Lets hope the Washington Post is committed to fulfilling their awesome journalistic responsibility of keeping both political parties honest through unbiased reporting and balanced editorials.

Why do I have that nagging feeling that they are just throwing us a bone?
