I found these two quotes the most telling --
“It may be that the expectations of the press have sunk enough that they will not sink much further. People are not dismayed by disappointments in the press. They expect them,” the authors of the report said.
(gee, ya think?)
“The study noted a huge rise in audiences for Internet news, particularly for bloggers, whose readers jumped by 58 percent in six months to 32 million people.”
To be promoted in the print media it’s best to be a member of the Florida Gay Journalists Association. If you’re President of the “Association” you can work for the New York Times as their Online Editor before you go to the Des Moines Register, pathetic.
You better be a Liberal if you want a promotion.
Newspapers kill more trees than any other industry.
Why doesn’t The Columbia University group saw off a broom handle and do a study on how far they can shove it up their ass? No fair using sandpaper or KY Jelly.

Doll, honey, I got something you can hang your purse on. Just wear that outfit.
It’s like we are all being punished by having to look at Monica.
Give oink his avatar back for the rest of us.

that’s my devious plan. Post often, and even Z Woof is begging for a break form Monica’s face! I wonder what she’d look like wearing Doll’s outfit?
From today’s Indianapolis Star. I changed the word “father-in-law”
Tell Me About It: Carolyn Hax
Redefine problem with blogmeister
Dear Carolyn: My blogmeister is quite the nightmare. He comes from a macho and conservative society and a male-dominated family. I, on the other hand, come from a VERY strongly female-dominated and LIBERAL family. He is very in-your-face and bullying. Other members appear very weak in his presence. We don’t see eye-to-eye on most things.
Because we don’t live in the same town, I expected my interactions with them to be limited, but they tend to be very involved in my life (controlling, almost). How can I deal with this? Do you think this is “normal” family behavior?
I would rather have Monica over Hillary—Bill Clinton (and everybody else too)
Make oink Monica again, hurry!!
