Best Scorsese Film Ever?

  1. Silent Partner - Canadian bank robbery film with violence and a twist that came out the same time as Star Wars I think. No one knew it existed. I loved it.

The Hunt for the Wilder People - a New Zealand film - quirky but stick with it. About a boy in foster care that goes all wrong - sort of.

My all time favorite - 2006 Oscar winner for Best Foreign Film - Das Leben der Anderen - The Lives of Others - about the East German Stasi.

Mao’s Last Dancer, Waiting For Superman, Defiance - good and thoughtful films.

I figured out what the Left’s problem is with Trump - it’s not that they lost and it’s not about Hilary (remember how quickly they dump useful idiots). It is about two Former Democrat Men of God. Pence lifelong and Trump a new believer. They can sustain each other in different ways during these trials and lies. It must be terrifying to people who have no standards at all - except double standards.

  2. If you like Chloe’s work try “Let Me In”, a somber but very chilling tale of a child vampire. Not camp or corny, just real and Dark.

  3. My son liked Let Me In - he even got the original one - Let the Right One In (Lat den ratte komma in)- Swedish film.

Speaking of that The Train to Busan - a Korean zombie film was actually good. The son likes to explore foreign stuff - which is why we love the Swedish versions of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo better than the American version. Even if the last movie (The Girl in the Spider’s Web) - made some serious mistakes in the ‘timeline’ of the childhood horrors of Lizbeth. But then it wasn’t written by Stieg Larsson

    We also liked Moonrise Kingdom.
