1. I was unsurprised when the BBC announced this as “a rare bit of good news from Afghanistan” This is an impressive use of high tech weaponry. Ultimately we still have to get boots on the ground, but using weapons like this will put the fear of God into these savages. I recently saw some footage of US Apaches in action toasting bad guys with extreme prejudice. The barbarians have no answer to this. Though I also saw on the news today that the US Secretary of Defence has been putting the squeeze on NATO countries to actually offer some serious support. It’s high time that these clowns pulled their weight instead of relying on the US to do it for them.
