Great recipe Drew, Mom makes it the same way.
Oh, before I forget, I want to go on record that I am a racist who hates Halfricans so I won’t be compelled to watch Captain Clownshoes speech on Tuesday trying to convince all the LIV’s that Syria deserves a spanking.
That is all.
My own feedback is that it needs a touch of spice. Either a spoonful of pumpkin pie spice, or a 1/4 tsp of your choices of ginger, mace, allspice, nutmeg.
Another banana would make it a bit moister too. Guess my 3 were a little small. It needs a full tsp of salt. A little extra sweetness would be nice too, so perhaps a tablespoon or two of molasses, which would add a tiny bit of moisture too.
Watch the loaf carefully, as it will get too brown and go hard if left too long in the oven.
Natural applesauce - I use it in cakes, cookies and such for moisture - adds no real flavor. I love banana bread - but I’m about the only one here - and calories wise - I can’t keep eating it all up.
